Richard Gerber is a commercial real estate professional with more than 30 years experience in the sales and leasing of commercial office, retail, industrial, land and multifamily residential properties. Before relocating to Florida in 2006, Richard was an active commercial realtor in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania

Richard earned his M.B.A degree from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York and a Bachelor of Science degree form the University of Buffalo.

Richard masterfully works in market areas that allow him to select the right tenants for a particular building that is most suitable for a tenant’s requirements.

Richard is on the Board of Directors of the Realtors Commercial Alliance of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Realtors.

Richard’s unique way allows him to seek opportunities to assist businesses and individuals by helping them grow their business. Richard was awarded the 2014 Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce “SMALL BUSINESS LEADER OF THE YEAR.”. 

Richard was Honored as a 2016 “HOMETOWN HERO” by The Alzheimer’s Family Center at their Black-Tie Gala Friday May 13, 2016 being held at the Parkland Golf & Country Club.

Richard’s was a 2015 GLAMMY HONOREE From Glam-A-Thon that provides funding so Women in need here in Broward County can receive free mammograms and other services in battling breast cancer.

Richard’s other community involvement includes being a participant for the “Jail & Bail” for the Broward County American Cancer Society. Richard is a Supporter of 2-1-1 Broward which serves as the gateway to over 800 of Broward County’s nonprofits, connecting residents to the most appropriate programs, a Supporter of Pinion which benefits Special Olympics for Broward County and its Athletes.

In addition, Richard serves as a coach for the DECA program for the Coral Springs High Schools.

Richard’s hobbies and interest includes fiction writing and sports trivia.

Born in New York City and raised on Long Island, New York. Richard lived in the New York and Philadelphia metropolitan areas prior to moving to South Florida in 2006 where he enjoys time with his two children and four grand children.
